Come Sun Up
ceramic, cold finish, 7 x 9.5 x .25”, 2025
A piece concerning the preservation of personal histories—and in the face of those that are nebulous—filling in the gaps with whimsy, longing, and fantasy. Replicating a carved found artifact, a lone figure and their horse are come upon by symbols of absurdism and tranquility, an object of a culture lost, or perhaps never existing.
